So I just spent 2 hours writing this neat test about our next adventure with pictures and links and proceeded to delete it.  ARGH!  So...started it again...

 o.k. here we go again.  E & I are just back from a camping weekend and are re-loading for our next journey: Canada East (CANEAST)

 We are headed to PEI with stops along the way along the St. Lawrence, Gaspe, NB etc.  Then we are taking a ferry over to the Magdalen Islands:

After that we're not sure but we'll keep you posted using this blog as we journey on a new adventure.  

 We retired (sadly) Miss Adventure after realizing we could use something a bit larger.   After all we spent seven months out of twelve in 150 square feet of trailer.  With much thought and time and research, we found our perfect floor plan and bought Miss Adventure Too.

"Mike" the bike:  on a Multiple Sclerosis bike tour





We are taking "Mike" the Bike with us and on occasion plan to cycle along the way.  Mike has been resting for a couple of years.  After I had a heart arrest 5 years ago, it took a bit to get back enough steam to man the engine...then, we fell on a cycling trip in Maryland which put Elizabeth out of commission for two years!  We think we're ready to give it a go and we have been out and about a bit on Mike getting ready for our next adventure.

Aug 20, Anne of Green Gables.  The musical. Elizabeth was brave and went swimming in the Atlantic this a.m.  Actually, the temperature was not bad but I’m a cold-water swim wimp so just dabbled my toes. We went off to Charlottetown in the evening and to the theatre.  A super well done musical of Anne of Green Gables.  What can I say? Aug 21, The Fiddling Fisherman, Souris. We left camp early in the day to wander along the North East coast drive and see more of the island on our way to an event we have booked.  The PEI National Park is separated (physically) in three sections.  The middle area is mainly sand dunes.  We were able to visit the campground there and have our picnic lunch.   We made our way to Souris where we will return for the ferry to the Magdalene Islands next week. CANEAST AUG 26-30

AUG 26 We went to the tourist info center in Cavendish to blog and upload our latest including a short You tube.  Elizabeth downloaded some library books and then we went to Avonlea Village for Cows ice cream and to see if they had a particular T‑shirt but it seems they only print their newer T’s.  We came back for an Instant Pot dinner (scrumptious) and headed to Charlottetown where we had the best tea and hot chocolate in a restaurant (Casa Mia Café) before seeing Anne and Gilbert the Musical. The show was fantastic, in a smaller theater. Three of the cast (understudies) were substituted. Including Anne – the understudy performed flawlessly.  Great show that had been cancelled from our original Friday booking. Aug 1 &2&3

1,2 August 2019 Kingston This is a bag our daughter Kelly gave us last year for our five month adventure west and to the Arctic ocean. Love it! It doesn’t seem to matter what time you leave Guelph to try and travel on the 401 past Toronto.    We left Guelph about 11:30 on a Thursday and hit stop and go from before Milton to past Whitby.   Anyhow made it to a nice RV park that we have stayed in before called Rideau Acres Campground just outside of Kingston on Lake Ontario.    Friday Aug. 2 Les Cedres/Montreal Today we’ll head for Les Cedres, just outside of Montreal where we will visit friends for a couple of days.   Staying at the Montreal West KOA. Shot of the seaway from Clifford: Tonight, there is a Toast and Café BBQ (??wait what??) hosted by the camp.    The  best part is the caramel sauce on the toast.
